Organising Outings is extremely important to us and of course, our resident’s happiness and it’s important we keep everyone active and engaged with the outside world. We organise both group and individual activities; such as outings to Althorpe House for lunch, Woburn Abbey to see the wildlife and Rushton Hall for a look around the gardens and their stately home.

The residents and care team at Brookside enjoyed a Christmas Party in 2017:
Santa Claus was a big surprise at the start of the day as he turned up to hand out presents to each of the residents. Residents opened their gifts and showed each other what they had received. It was great to watch them interacting with each other and it provided plenty of conversation. Who was the man behind the beard?
The party was completed with an afternoon of festive decorating, mince pies and mulled wine.
